This fragrance has been compared to Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim and to Bvlgari Le Gemme Tygar. It pretty much has the same notes as Tygar, but the Bvlgari costs $326.00, while Arrakis is less than half that. For the money, I think Arrakis is well worth the price. The opening is beautiful and is a little bit stronger grapefruit smell than Tygar. The dry down of ambroxan and woody notes is excellent. This fragrance is extremely versatile and can be worn for any occasion. Projection and longevity are both very good, and are greater than you think. This is a fragrance that you become anosmic to, so don’t be too strong on the trigger.
