Guercino by V Canto perfume for men and women

This creation is inspired by the great artist and painter Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, nicknamed il Guercino, tireless creator of works of art and constantly in search of personal improvement and progression. For these extraordinary gifts he had been hired by the Malatestas to paint in the courtyard, under the wing of the patron Sigismondo.

There is a beautiful quote from the writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in his famous book “Journey to Italy” in which he describes Guercino with these splendid words, which enclose his essence and which then fully reverberate in the creation dedicated to him, in this bottle with a gentle ivory color and the calm and light grandeur of its unforgettable and amazing scent. «Guercino is an intimately honest painter, manly healthy, without rudeness; indeed, his works are distinguished by gentle moral grace, by tranquil and free grandeur, and by something particular that allows the newly trained eye to recognize them at first glance. The lightness, purity and perfection of his brush are astonishing. For the drapery he uses particularly beautiful colors, with reddish-brown half-tones, very well harmonizing with the blue that he also prefers. » (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Journey to Italy)

The creation opens with a bouquet of sparkling and graceful citrus fruits, where the dominant notes of Amalfi Lemon and Calabrian Bergamot echo, emphasized by the strength of the Scalea Cedar embraced by the combo composed of Bitter Orange and Brazilian Orange. This citrus top dives lightly on a heart of sweet and succulent fruits, combined with flowers with a seductive and sensual scent. Here is the Green Apple of the Dolomites with the decisive Romagnola Pear wrapped in Heliotrope and Francipane Flowers, to be in turn wrapped in the fresh sweetness of the Persian Melon. A heart so unexpected and large, so innovative and revolutionary that it takes a long time to be fully understood and only expert noses can penetrate the folds of its uniqueness, just as happens with the art of Guercino, cited by Goethe. The base, to live up to its revolutionary and unique heart, in turn expresses an acrobatic balance of harmonious and dissonant elements in unison, where we can admire the power of Jamaican Amyris embraced by the balsamic freshness of Silver Fir, counterpointed by Indian Patchouli, then pushed into a sensual and aphrodisiac vertigo triggered by the famous magical drop jealously and secretly kept in the Terenzi Library, composed of Ambergris, Musk and Bourbon Vanilla from Madagascar.
