Malatesta by V Canto perfume for men and women
The Malatestas were a noble Italian family, among the most important and influential of the Middle Ages, which dominated the Signoria of Rimini and various territories of Romagna from 1295 to 1500. The origins of the dynasty were traced back by their courtiers to the times of ancient Rome and to the Scipios.
The most important of the noble family was Malatesta da Verucchio who, thanks to his military and political ability, conquered the name of Mastin Vecchio, also giving his name to the most important tower present in the Castle of Gradara. His eldest son Giovanni Malatesta (called Gianciotto, Lord of Gradara) became sadly famous for the tragedy told in the V Canto of the Inferno by Dante Alighieri, where he tells of the eternal love between Paolo, his older brother, and the beautiful Francesca, his wife. A love that still reverberates from the walls of the Castle throughout the valley. In the 14th and 15th centuries the Malatesta conquered numerous cities in Romagna and the Marches, extending the territory of their kingdom as far as the eye could see.
Many Malatestas were able leaders and exceptional strategists. The most famous of all the Malatestas was certainly Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, with whom the family reached the apogee of fame and wealth.
This creation is inspired by the essence of nobility and strength, the main characteristics of the Malatestas, one of the most important families in Italian history. The essence opens with a Bouquet of Italian citrus fruits, where the Sicilian Orange and the Calabrian Mandarin emerge, emphasized by the regal notes of the roots of Iris, a flower par excellence inspired by the Italian nobility, the Lily of Florence and the very rare, very precious, Roots of Iris. This regal head rests imperiously on a carpet of martial intensity, as if the sounds of the drums can be heard. The freshness of Italian lavender embraces the persuasion of jasmine, while the strength of cedar wood and Tuscan leather are emphasized by the bubbling of pink pepper. The base is then a riot of strength and regal elegance, where an accord of precious woods emerges, such as Oudh from Cambodia, Agarwood and Red Patchouli from India, emphasized by Vanilla Beans and Musk. An elegant and seductive creation capable of enclosing the spirit of royalty in a drop of perfume.
